On Toledo, Ohio
A few of my favorite things about Toledo include the local arts and music scenes. The art museum has a great permanent collection and [hosts] notable traveling exhibits, and it’s FREE to boot. One of my favorite things to do to pass the time is to enjoy the live music on Adams Street during the monthly art walk. Of course, nothing beats the local Mediterranean restaurants, which are out of this world.
Advice
Your semesters are marathons, not sprints. That is to say, make sure you are doing what you need to do (sleeping, eating right, etc.) to keep yourself happy and healthy throughout the term.
Favorite Class
Legal Research and Writing with Professor O'Connell. I find it very satisfying to generate work product because it makes me feel like a "real" lawyer, and learning how to apply legal rules to fact scenarios really helps me in my other classes.
On Studying
The LaValley Law Library is where I do all of my studying. It has study rooms on the second floor, which are great if you have a study group or are simply feeling sociable. If I'm in the mood for total silence, I head to the carrels on the fourth floor. It doesn't hurt that the fourth floor happens to be the warmest place in the building!
