We hope you are enjoying your summer and are looking forward to your arrival in August. Orientation starts the evening of Wednesday, August 15, 2012 and continues all day Thursday, August 16, 2012. Orientation packets will be mailed to all incoming students the third week of July.
We ask all of you, including evening-division students, to make plans to attend the entire orientation program. Because orientation is an essential introduction to law school, attendance is mandatory. Dress for orientation is business casual. You will have the opportunity to have your student directory photo taken on either day of orientation.
2012-2013 Tuition & Fee Schedule
Rocket ID Number
Your Rocket ID number is your student identification number. This number will allow you to create and access your Toledo Law email and view your student account. You should have been provided this number during the seat deposit application process. If you do not have your Rocket ID number, please contact the Admissions Office as soon as possible.
Class Schedules & Textbooks
The Admissions Office will prepare class schedules for all incoming first-year students. Your class schedule will be released in late July, at which time you will need to register for the selected courses online via the myUT Portal. It is an honor code violation to change your class schedule without express permission from the Associate Dean.
After you receive your schedule, please feel free to view your professors’ web pages for book lists and assignments. Books may be purchased online or through one of our on-campus bookstores.
Transcripts
Even though you have already submitted copies of transcripts to LSAC during the application process, Toledo Law will need two (2) official copies of your undergraduate transcript, one (1) official copy of your graduate transcript (if applicable), and one (1) official copy of your law school transcript (if applicable). These transcripts should be from your degree-granting institution and evidence both the degree earned and the date of the degree. If you obtained credit at an institution but did not complete a degree, you need not submit a transcript from that institution.
Certified, official copies of your transcripts should be sent to us directly from your institution to the following address:

Parking
You can authorize your vehicle for parking on main campus online by license plate number. Just login to the myUT Portal and visit the “Request/Update Parking Permit” link under the “My Registration Steps” section of “My Toolkit.” Please visit Parking Services for parking-related FAQs and current rates.
Housing
Throughout the year, local apartment communities provide housing information to the Admissions Office. This information is not all-inclusive, but we are happy to provide it to incoming students upon request. We recommend that students consider the information published by The University of Toledo Off-Campus Housing Department, Apartment Guide, For Rent Guide, and Rent.com for additional information.
International Students (all non-U.S. citizens)
All international students are required to attend both the Toledo Law orientation on August 15-16, 2012 and the International Student Orientation. International Student Orientation is hosted by the Office of International Student Services and will be held on Thursday, August 9, 2012 from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm. Please plan to be in Toledo by August 9 in order to attend this orientation. Both orientations are mandatory.
