Jessica Mehl received her B.S. magna cum laude in public law and government from Eastern Michigan University in 2002, followed by a Juris Doctor magna cum laude from The University of Toledo College of Law in 2005.  Jessica is a licensed attorney and a member of the Ohio Bar.   

After working at a private law school in Michigan, Jessica returned to The University of Toledo College of Law, Office of Professional Development, in the spring of 2006.  In early 2007, she became the Public Service Coordinator for the College of Law, and in that capacity, managed the Public Service Commendation program.  Through the National Association of Law Placement (NALP) Public Service committee, Ms. Mehl was a contributing author to the Law School Guide to Public Interest Careers (Oct. 2007---National Association for Law Placement, Inc.) and co-author of Tips and Pointers on Drafting a Resume for  Legal Services Position (Jan. 2010, NALP Bulletin, Vol. 22, No. 1)

Ms. Mehl became the Assistant Dean of Law Admissions in April 2010.  She is currently an active member of the Law School Admission Council.

Jessica is also a member of the Toledo Bar Association and represents indigent clients through the TBA Pro Bono Legal Services Program.

Amber Pursley received her B.B.A. summa cum laude in finance from The University of Texas at Austin in 1996, followed by a Juris Doctor with honors from The University of Texas School of Law in 2004. Amber is a licensed attorney and a member of the bars of the State of Texas and the District of Columbia.

Prior to law school, Amber worked as a financial analyst for several major companies, including Arthur Andersen, ExxonMobil, Dynegy and Microsoft, developing a specialty in energy finance and revenue accounting. After graduating from The University of Texas School of Law, where she was Co-Editor-in-Chief of the Texas Journal of Business Law, Amber worked as an associate in Jones Day’s Structured Finance and Derivatives practice group.

Ms. Pursley moved to Toledo in the summer of 2010 and became the Assistant Director of Law Admissions in March 2011.

Tara Thompson received her BA in English from The Ohio State University in 2005, followed by a Juris Doctor from The University of Toledo College of Law in 2008. Tara is a licensed attorney and a member of the Ohio Bar.

After working for LexisNexis as an Account Executive in Washington, DC, Tara returned to Toledo in the summer of 2011 and began working for the College of Law, Office of Admissions as the Student Recruiting Associate.
