to discuss his new book, "Failed Evidence: Why Law Enforcement Resists Science."

in the College of Law Auditorium, as part of the Stranahan National Issues Forum.

 


U.S. Deputy Secretary of Labor Seth Harris, presented the 2011 Canon Lecture, "The Role of Workers in a 21st Century Economy: An Administration Perspective," on Monday, October 17, 2011, in the College of Law Auditorium.

 


The Honorable Alice M. Batchelder, delivered the Stranahan Lecture at the University of Toledo College of Law on Thursday, October 6, 2011. Chief Judge Batchelder’s lecture was titled "The Anti-Federalists’ Warning: An Overpowerful Federal Judiciary." 

 


Lawrence B. Solum, an internationally recognized expert on legal theory, spoke at The University of Toledo College of Law on Tuesday, March 22, 2011. The speech, "Virtue and Law," was presented as part of the Stranahan National Issues Forum.

 


Dr. Arthur C. Brooks delivered the Stranahan Lecture at the College of Law on Wednesday, October 6, 2010 in the Law College Auditorium. Dr. Brooks' lecture was titled "The Battle: How the Fight Between Free Enterprise and Big Government will Shape America's Future."

 


Robert P. George, McCormick Professor of Jurisprudence and Founder and Director of the James Madison Program in American Ideals and Institutions at Princeton University, spoke on "Natural Law, God, and Human Dignity" at the University of Toledo College of Law on February 18, 2010.
