Paula Crandall Mowry, an adjunct faculty member since 2006, is a graduate of the Bowling Green State University BFA, 1975, magna cum laude, and the University of Toledo, College of Law, JD  1988, cum laude, Burton Maddock full four year scholarship.  She has been a member of the Ohio Bar since 1988.

Before graduating from law school, Ms. Mowry taught for 11 years in the Sylvania City School System.  She then practiced law for two years in Toledo with a small local law firm, which included litigation in the following areas: bankruptcy, corporate, divorce, juvenile, real estate, workers' compensation, tax preparation, and criminal defense.  

Beginning in 1990 Ms. Mowry taught Legal Research and Writing for 4 years, as a full time faculty member at the University of Toledo, College of Law. She also conducted mediations for the Toledo Municipal Court. 

Since 1993, Ms. Mowry has been employed as a full-time staff attorney at the Ohio Sixth District Court of Appeals.  As a staff attorney, Ms. Mowry conducts legal research and prepares draft decisions for appeals on many areas of law, and has worked for Judge Arlene Singer, Judge Peter Handwork, Judge James Sherck, Justice Judith Ann Lanzinger, and the late Judge William Skow, as well as a number of visiting judges.
