New Hampshire Superior Court (http://www.nh.gov/judiciary/superior/index.htm)

The New Hampshire Superior Court seeks to fill law clerk positions which commence each year beginning in mid-August. Superior Court law clerks are required to commit to a two year clerkship. Law clerks are selected from applicants who are either law school graduates or 3rd year law students who expect to graduate prior to commencement of employment. The Superior Court is a court of general jurisdiction and is the highest level trial court in New Hampshire. The court has 15 law clerks, approximately half of whom are hired each year providing a substantial overlap of experience for incoming law clerks.

Law Clerks are assigned to one of EIGHT court locations for a period of one year and work with each of the judges assigned to their home court. Law clerks may request to remain in that location for their second year or relocate to a different court. In addition, law clerks may, on occasion, be required to travel to other court locations where a law clerk is not permanently assigned.

Law clerks in the Superior Court work closely with all of the judges in their home court. The position emphasizes strong writing skills and involves a significant amount of in-court assistance to the trial judges. The work load of the law clerks is generally evenly split between criminal and civil cases. Law clerks will be involved in research and the drafting of the legal rulings and orders in the wide array of cases that comes before the trial court. Law clerks have the opportunity to work closely with trial judges and will gain a keen understanding of the workings of the trial courts of New Hampshire.
The court invites interested candidates to apply directly to the New Hampshire Superior Court. The court will accept applications from May 1st, through mid-September of each year. Applications should include the following information: (1) cover letter; (2) resume; (3) law school transcript; (4) writing sample; (5) list of references. The first interviews will be held early in the fall at one of the New Hampshire Superior Court locations.
