Second year law students interested in applying for a one year appointment as a law clerk to the North Dakota Supreme Court should prepare a letter of application and submit four copies addressed to: Chair, Law Clerkship Program, North Dakota Supreme Court, Judicial Wing, 1 st Floor, 600 East Boulevard Avenue, Dept. 180, Bismarck, ND 58505. Application is due by March 1 of the second year.

Application materials should include: an autobiographical sketch, a curriculum vitae, three references including at least one member of the law school faculty, an undergraduate transcript, a copy of the applicant’s LSAT score, a copy of the applicants law school application for admission, a law school transcript, and a writing sample that has been edited only by the applicant.
