To apply for a clerkship with the South Dakota Supreme Court, students must send five copies of the application materials to: Director of Human Resources, South Dakota Supreme Court, 500 East Capitol Street, Pierre, SD 57501. Application materials should include a cover letter, resume, an unofficial law school transcript, and a writing sample. Applications should be received by August 1 of the summer proceeding the third year of law school.
