The application deadline for the following employers has been extended due to the low number of applications submitted.

Department of Justice Applications Now Available Online:

Online applications are now available for two prestigious Department of Justice program: The Attorney General Honors Program (3L Students) and the Summer Law Intern Program (2L’s). 

The Attorney General's Honors Program: Each fall, the Department hires law students for entry-level attorney positions following graduation through the Attorney General's Honors Program. Visit Entry-Level Attorneys (The Attorney General's Honors Program) for details.

Legal Internships: The Department offers extensive legal internship programs to law students with challenging opportunities in Washington, D.C. and in cities across America for positions during the summer and throughout the academic year. The Summer Law Intern Program (SLIP) is the Department's competitive recruitment program for compensated summer internships.

Upcoming Career Fairs/Events- Equal Justice Works and AIPLA:

Equal Justice Works:

Registration will open for the 2007 Equal Justice Works Public Interest Law Career Fair and Conference on August 27th, 2007 at www.equaljusticeworks.org.  Please register early if interested in attending as we are only able to cover the registration costs of the first 10 students to register.  This year’s Career Fair and Conference will be held on October 6-7, 2007 at The Omni Shoreham, 2500 Calvert Street, NW, Washington, DC 20008.  

American Intellectual Property Lawyers Association (AIPLA):

The Job Fair interview process will be held in person on Saturday, October 20, 2007. Interviews will begin at 11:00 a.m. and continue throughout Saturday afternoon at half-hour intervals until 4:00 p.m., at the Marriott Wardman Park Hotel in Washington, D.C. There is no fee to participate in the JOB FAIR, but you must be a member of AIPLA.
