Transcripts -

Official
- All official transcripts are distributed by the Registrar's Office in Rocket Hall -
phone 419.530.2704, even though an individual might have attended the law school.
(The 419.530.2704 number is a recording that will explain the procedure for ordering a transcript.)

Unofficial - unofficial transcripts can be obtained at the law registrar's office at no cost. (The unofficials are on plain white paper without any distinguishing designations.) To obtain a transcript on demand during office hours, picture identification must be presented. If an individual does not want to come into the office, they can fax or mail their request.

We need to have the student's name, signature, social security number, request for transcript and whom the transcript is to be given to. If an individual wants the transcript faxed to them, they must indicate, in their request, that they understand confidentiality can not be guaranteed thru a fax.

Grades -

Accessing grades:

Grades may be accessed by using the web portal myUT.utoledo.edu

Grades can be obtained approximately 3 weeks after the last day of finals in the term.

If your grades are not on the system, please do not call the Law Registrar's Office as we will not give out any individual grades. Either we do not have the grades, or they will be posted shortly. Please keep checking the system.

Repeating Courses -

Pursuant to the Academic Rules of the College of Law, a student who receives a grade below a
"C" in a required course must repeat the course. The required courses are: Civil Procedure, Constitutional Law, Contracts, Criminal Law, Legal Ethics, Evidence, Legal Research and Writing, Property and Torts.

In addition, a student may repeat any course, if the grade earned for the course is below a "C".

When a student repeats a course, both the original grade earned and the grade earned on repetition will be reported on the transcript and computed into the grade point average, although student will not earn additional credits toward graduation. If possible, you should repeat courses with different instructors.
